Bart Collet is owner and manager of a home for the elderly.  Bart is also initiator of, an internet-platform for “captains of care”, launched in 2006.  As autodidact Bart has profound knowledge of database design, programming, web servers, network infrastructure, software development, social media and collaboration-applications.  Since 2005, Bart has been evaluating wireless monitoring and communication solutions in healthcare and is recognized internationally as a mHealth evangelist.



Leo Exter is the founder of westartup, a social network of over 2,900 entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.  Leo served as Coach in the Microsoft Innovation Center’s Boostcamp acceleration program for technology startups, and co-founded BetaInvest, a matchmaking event for startups and investors.  He brought Startup Weekend to Belgium, and co-founded Bizcamp Belgium.  Marketing guy by trade, he’s worked in FMCG (The Coca-Cola Company), dot-coms (Info2clear), consumer tech (Mio Technology) and in a PR agency (Grayling).




Frank Boermeester is a researcher, writer and event organiser interested in technology and healthcare.  Earlier he co-founded an innovation journal (The Fifth Conference), he was a research analyst at management consultancy the Corporate Executive Board (London/Washington DC) and has worked for several market research firms around the world. Frank is a research psychologist by training and has published several articles in medical psychiatry. He has an MBA from the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School.

Thereto, as founding CEO of InBioVeritas, he ideates and facilitates innovative disruptions in healthcare, creating novel digital health startups. He serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of a large number of life sciences companies & investors. Before, he spent 15 years in Executive positions at 4 leading biotech companies: Tibotec, Galapagos, Pronota and Thrombogenics, combining that with academic cancer and omics research. Koen is professor Molecular Oncology at Ghent University, Belgium, and chairs the scientific committee of the European Cancer Prevention Organisation.
